During the de-icing season, the stakeholders will be provided with a visual depiction that compares the current impact forecast to historical (past) impact forecasts. An illustration of this is shown below.

It is to be compared to forecasts of past winters (green), where the darker the colour the more frequent that impact value range was (dots represent individual winters and winters falling within the current forecast range are labelled). In this hypothetical example, a below-average impact is predicted for the winter of interest.
